“I have heard conflicting answers on if this can be hung on a chain link fence. I want to use it to record my kids baseball and softball games and need to be able to hang it on a fence. Is this possible with this product ?”

yes it does work on chain link fences! I use it for my sons High school baseball games.

Please try again later.Yes, it can clip diagonally across the chain links of a chain link fence (how I use it) and probably on the thinner chain link fence horizontal poles. However, I'm not sure if it could survive a direct hit from a foul ball. I've mounted my old iPhone to it, so I don't have any worries. It can *almost* clip onto the end of a 2-1/4" baseball bat barrel.
