QuestionI loose the connection to the sound bar when I change sources on my TV. I found that scrolling through sources on the remote will reconnect but then I am having to pair my sub woofer again. Is there a way to keep it connected regardless?

- Answer I really don’t think it can, but the tv remote and cable remote can definitely control your sound bar and sub.

- Answer Hi there, thanks for asking. Currently our JBL Soundbars don't have the connect+ feature like our JBL Charge 4 speakers so they won't be able to connect and play simultaneously.

They are replacing it next week with one (not JBL) I found high evaluation/reviews by Buyers Guide & Consumer Reports, as well as many owners. I did much research on the JBL so was very disappointed. BB Geeks Squad has been here 5 times to try to correct it & replaced it once. & after three weeks 'it' just stopped working. New one worse than the first one. They've never asked me for a receipt. Sorry for the bad news.. However BB has been more than accommodating. They are installing new one for no charge & gave me $150 gift card against the upgrade system. Ris

QuestionI have a Stanton turntable that can connect to an amp via a 3.5 mm audio cable. Can I connect it to the sound bar and play albums through it?

- Answer The JBL 3.1 soundbar does come with a 3.5mm jack which should let you play audio from the turntable. Although, audio quality may not be at max performance. HDMI and digital optical cables are your best route to get clear quality sound and performance.

- Answer I don't think you can pair another sub, but you CAN pair speakers to it, all you gotta do is check on the site which speaker set is compatible with the soundbar

- Answer Hello! You may change the source on the soundbar from Bluetooth to HDMI/Optical (depending on how it is connected) using the source button on the remote.

QuestionSo when I listen to music the subwoofer pops every couple minutes. Bass is at 12 out of 30 and sound is at 17 out of 45. Anyone know why this could be happening?

- Answer If it's not coded in Dolby digital it will default to PCM. The bar does not support DTS unfortunately.

- Answer No, this is only possible with our speakers that have the JBL Connect+ feature, and eventually done through the JBL Connect app for a stereo setup. The Flip 3s have the JBL Connect, which is not compatible with the Connect+. If you are to add them as surround speakers to a 5.1 system, I'm afraid that is not possible.
