A:AnswerOur JBL Bar 5.1 is a stand-alone speaker system and can't be connected to another amplifier or receiver. However, you can connect this with your TV through HDMI and optical. If you need more help, please contact us here: https://bit.ly/2WocMfi
A:AnswerI upgraded from the 2.1 and it is a big upgrade. Be sure to use the subwoofer level button on the remote control. You can set the bass with the remote. That’s the only way to turn the bass up or down. Adjustment goes 1-5 with 5 being the most.
A:AnswerThe back light indicates it's in a standby mode. Just play the music or turn the TV on and the sound will merge between the soundbar and subwoofer. It's automatically linked.
A:AnswerThe subwoofer is designed to stand upright. Sound is supposed to hit the floor under it. The port in back needs to be at least 4-6 inches from a wall or corner wall. That’s how it produces it’s best sound.
A:AnswerUnplug the subwoofer and replug to the power again. If the back light appears then it will automatically connects to the soundbar. If there is no light then the subwoofer internal power connection has gone bad and requires service.

A:AnswerThis is an issue with the Samsung QLED television 'Sound' settings...not the soundbar. I had the same problem with our Samsung 2020 QLED until I changed 'Sound' settings (I don't recall which setting right now), Its something to do with the auto-surround "extra noise" in the room environment that the TV tries to compensate for. We had this happen even without a soundbar attached. BTW, we had a Samsung Q60T Soundbar that was no good....replaced it with a JBL 5.1 via HDMI and it is awesome.
