A:AnswerAbsolutely and an excellent choice.would recommend some backer on metal behind(dyna max/rubber roofing,it works great)just to keep from the tinny sound when turning it up.
A:AnswerI'm pushing a SoundCloud 3000 amp with 1500watts RMS.I have 2 soundsream 12 subs in a ported enclosure strapped to the rear wall of my Chevy Eldorado (who needs rear seats).Have an alpine 180 watt amp in glove box crossovers in side compartment of dash with these speakers in doors ,did place matting behind glued to metal(can't stand rattles or tinny sound) believe me it hits hard very hard.I was surprised to find out that these speakers which are nice but not competition grade could actually hold thier own and perform quite well. And I saved a few bucks too. This will come in handy for the upgrade required to elect.system.
