QuestionAssuming at some point in the future the satellite batteries no longer hold a charge, will they run off the USB power source?

- Answer This may already been answered, but there is a mini usb connector on each of the satellite speakers. I haven't tried it, but I assume these are in case you want a fixed power supply.

QuestionHow far away can I put the sub woofer from the sound bar? Max distance? Also, how far should the sound bar be mounted under the wall mount tv?

- Answer I have had mine placed up to 10 feet away and it worked fine, but found my final ideal install location less then a foot away once I had new furniture. But from my understanding it can go further than the 10 feet I had it setup in initially.

QuestionI am experiencing the rears cutting out. I have a mesh satellite near the sound bar. Could that be causing the issue? What wireless band do the rears use? I can't control my wifi bands on my mesh system but I could move it if it would help.

QuestionTwo questions - 1. How long are the batteries on the surround speakers expected to last before needing to be replaced? 2. If I want the rear surround speakers to be used continuously as rear speakers, what type of charger do I need for the usb cable?

- Answer The batteries in the surround speakers may start to deteriorate after the first year. Playtime would be shorter than it was due to the charge and discharge cycle. Replacing it would be over 2 years of everyday use. You may use a USB adapter with 5V and at least 2A of current.

QuestionI got one, sounds are amazing, but the back speakers are losing connections sometimes, 1 to 4 seconds and come back. I exchange for a new one, same problem. Everything is up to date, they said could be some connection interference, but is not.

- Answer Thanks for the feedback. Audio drop outs could be a result of wireless interference. You could isolate the issue by turning off other wireless devices temporarily or moving it on a different room or location.

QuestionDo you get true Atmos sound with just using hdmi arc? Do you need to have a receiver that also has atmos?

- Answer You can get the Atmos signal over ARC as long as what you are watching is truly encoded for Atmos. That is more of the issue than anything. Some Netflix stuff is encoded that way but not all movies or digital media is actually encoded for it.

QuestionI purchased this yesterday 10-2-21. Hooked it up on 10-3-21. After a few hours I have noticed a crackling sound coming from the soundbar. Anyone else noticed this? Not to happy right now being the money I spent on this.

QuestionCan I attach the surrounds to the ceiling as in attached picture? How far away from the soundbar can they be placed so not to have cut out problems?

- Answer I do not recommend using the hardware they provide for mounting to the ceiling. Tried this and they vibrated off, luckily onto my couch. The furthest I placed them is 20ft and they work well. Dont put a wall directly between the rear and main speakers it will get choppy. Hope this helps. Also I made my mounts for the ceiling out of some flat stock aluminum I bought at homedepot, made making the bends easy. If you choose to do this, drill all your mounting wholes prior to bending.

QuestionDid anyone face any heating issue under the bar near center left side? I got my recently and end of the day, it gets hot with moderate use. I kept the bar flat on TV stand and connected Chrome Cast directly to HDMI in, eARC is connected to TV.

- Answer I've had mine for perhaps a month. Love it! However.... yesterday it stopped making any sound whatsoever, it's like it's completely dead! Can't even do the hard reset. The weird thing is that, right in the area you mention, it is so hot that I can literally only put my hand on that area for 1 or 2 seconds max. I'd love to know why a machine that is not doing ANYTHING is getting searing hot! An I at risk for a fire here?? Meanwhile, I'm searching the Q & A on this product, looking for a solution to my problem....

- Answer The HDMI-ARC port on your TV should be used while the HDMI-CEC function is on. This will make your TV send the audio going down to the soundbar. Please check the manual of your TV to enable CEC.

QuestionI have the 9.1 jbl bar, hooked to an lg oled tv, the display on sound bar never displays dolby atmos. always says 5.1 dolby surround.

- Answer To play the surround sound with DOLBY ATMOS or DTS:X, connect your Blu-ray player or other digital devices to the HDMI input connector on the soundbar. If the TV support Dolby ATMOS, served over HDMI ARC, just make sure it is selected in the TV setting menu. Dolby Atmos is only possible if the source has arc.
