There may be some noticeable audio-video delays when the JBL Bar 500 is connected to your TV or source via Bluetooth as it doesn't have an aptX HD low latency codec. It is best to connect the JBL Bar 500 to your TV via HDMI to experience the best sound quality and reduce the likelihood of latency issues when watching movies.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Gotta do initial setup....it runs a series of sound tests with each speaker and listens for echo, then it determines settings through some algorithms. Mine sounds great in it's simplicity. Wireless, plug and play. I also have a room with a bose series 7.1 wired setup. Requires a receiver and running wires. Sounds good, but it's PITA and my wife doesn't want to mess with receivers. I had a much higher end Polk 7.1 setup, which was great, very flexible in a big room. This soundbar sounds great, for what it is and what it does.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have awful latency no matter what I do, especially noticeable when playing games. Everything is hooked directly into my Sony Bravia 8 and I use the ARC input to the HDMI in on the sound bar.
