- Answer Our JBL Boombox has no internal memory that you can use to store downloaded music. You can use your phone or PC and to download music from it and connect it to our JBL Boombox 2 via Bluetooth or aux.

QuestionHow to check firmware version that js install on boombox 2. If enter jbl portable it show 0.4.4 (latest) and if disable the ring light on (power/BT pairing) it sound is 0.2.3.0, which firmware is the real one that is on the device.

- Answer Our JBL Boombox 2's latest firmware version should be the one that's showing on the JBL Portable app when you check the updates of the speaker. The latest software should be 0.4.4.

- Answer No, our JBL Boombox 1 has the JBL Connect+ feature while our JBL Boombox 2 has the new and improved JBL PartyBoost feature. as hardware changes have been made to ensure connection stability, our JBL Boombox 2 isn't backwards compatible with the JBL Connect+ feature and can't be connected with each other.

QuestionUnit is working fine in that I can connect and play music, however the app finds the device but is stuck on the “getting ready for you” and does not move. Have deleted app and removed device and recreated and then reinstalled but no change.

- Answer I have same problem, my charge 5 and Extreme 3 are in the app no problem but the boombox 2 is recognized but dont go any further than that
