- Answer There's no harm in keeping it plugged in while playing. Our JBL Boombox uses a smart battery which switches to the outlet power when the battery is full.

QuestionDoes the volume max from your phone? or does it get louder than the max of your phone? I recently bought the JBL Xtreme 2 and im returning it cause the max volume is my phones volume and that really annoyed me. Very dissapointed.

QuestionI have an extreme 2 and charge 4 that I run at 2 ends of the shop floor.Its not yet loud enough, would upgrading the charge 4 to a boombox finally give me the necessary volume in a noisy factory?

- Answer over time yes, any adhesive in the device will slowly melt and could potentially damage the speaker internally

QuestionWhen does the Boombox go into standby mode - automatically after a certain amount of time of not being used? Or, can you put it in standby mode by pushing some button? Does it come out of standby when you start playing music again?

- Answer You need Bluetooth or a 3.5mm cord. If using a cord it is NOT waterproof.
