Q: QuestionDoes this come with an AC power cord?

• A:Answer Yes! It comes with a wall charger with USB port, and the USB cord as well. It is a rust color which makes it nice to recognize among all of the black or white charging equipment for other devices. I assume this rust color charger and cord is the same no matter what color the device is. I exchanged a red unit for a black unit because my wife didn't like the red. The chargers were identical in color for both units.

Q: QuestionDoes the speaker use a separate battery to chrge your phone?If I'm using the speaker to charge my phone, does this diminish the speaker's run time? I was speaking to a JBL rep at the store (at least he was wearing a t-shirt that had JBL on it and he was hovering around the speakers) that stated the speaker has a separate battery and this would not reduce my play time even if I used all the juice to recharge my phone. I can not find anything to confirm what he said.

• A:Answer That "rep" doesn't know what he is talking about. Charging anything through the charge port will reduce the battery life and play time of the speaker.

• A:Answer Unfortunately, no. Only speakers with the JBL Connect feature can be paired together for stereo sound with the help of the JBL Connect app. Said speakers are: CHARGE 3, FLIP 3, PULSE 2, XTREME and the BOOST TV.
