• Our JBL Charge 5 can be used while the unit is charging. Our speakers are designed to work even while charging so you can continue to listen to music all the time.

• Yes, you can. Now I don’t recommend charging near water because you leave the electrical components open. Also, if your charging and playing music, don’t max volume if your battery is in red, it’ll cause it to charge slow.
