Are these noise canceling headphones? null

No, they are not noise cancelling, but they have a good seal and will reduce ambient sound

To me they are because when you have them on and nothing is playing it is very muffled and it is hard to hear someone talking. When you are playing music or other audio material you can not hear the outside world. These headphones have superior base and treble frequencies and the separation between left and right channel is great.

I have had other headphones and everything comes through when I'm on smule singing. These headphones work better than any I have had. So far I have had the TV down low and people talking low in the back ground and nothing came through on my songs. So I love them. Next I'm going to purchase Bose and try them.
