I'd recommend using ear defenders over the earbuds to hear your music etc clearly. These earbuds are not noise cancelling enough to block out a laud internal combustion engine right next to you.

Our JBL Endurance Peak 3 does not have an active noise cancellation feature, which means it relies on passive isolation to block out external noise. While it offers good noise isolation, particularly with the ear tips that create a tight seal, it may not completely block out the noise of a loud ride-on lawn mower. The effectiveness of the noise isolation will also depend on the volume of your music or podcast and the level of noise produced by the mower.
