Can the Flip 5 be in the water or just beside it? null

Our JBL Flip 5's IPX 7 waterproof specification means that these speakers can be immersed in water 1 m deep for 30 minutes. It does not mean that they can float, so please be careful. If dropped, they will sink to the bottom.

Yes, my niece held it under water at the lake just to test it out. Of course I quickly pulled it out but it didn’t even phase it. Love this speaker!!!!
