• No to the threaded fitting, velcro would work minus the water aspect of a kayak. Avoid a magnetic mount could interfere with the speakers coil. I'd get like a 2in harbor freight clamp drill a 1/4" hole put a bolt and a nut down then attach a cell phone or tablet clip and have that hold the speaker personally, this way I can clamp the speaker where I want, but one of the floating speakers is probably better in case the mount fails or whatever.
