“Does the Jbl speaker come with a rechargeable battery or does it have to be plugged in in order to be used?”

• Unfortunately it has to be plugged in unlike the partybox 100, 300, and 310 which are portably rechargeable. However you are getting your money’s worth with the partybox 1000 speakers. If you were to look under “specifications” it’ll say it self it is not “rechargeable.”
