Can it be used in the shower? null

When you say in the shower I'm assuming you mean in your bathroom while you shower? if so then yes! I've been doing this since I bought it and have not had a problem or malfunction with the speaker.

I wouldn't advise it the waterproofing is limited it's more like splash proof of light rain proof. JBL does say it will float if you drop it in the pool so you might try it if you had an area of the shower that did not get continually hit with moisture just remember that hot water can penetrate further than cold

Depends on how long you would like it to continue to function after you took it in the shower. Short answer...………….NO. It will go loud enough you can leave it on the vanity and still hear it in the shower.
