I suppose so, but it'll vibrate too much to keep it that way and will probably tip over. Its meant to be placed horizontal because of the foot design. Hope this helps!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think it should be set up on it's side. The speakers are on both ends and they bellow out when music is playing. You would also loose the sound of one speaker.
