- Answer No, our JBL Xtreme 2 has a connect + while the Xtreme 3 and Boombox 2 have the PartyBoost feature. Only speakers that have the same connect feature can pair with each other.

- Answer The USB port on our JBL Xtreme 3 is for charging your devices only. It doesn't support USB playback. You can connect your devices via Bluetooth or 3.5 mm aux cable.

- Answer Thanks for your question. Our JBL Boombox 1 cannot be linked to the JBL Xtreme 3 due to incompatible technologies. Xtreme 3 has the PartyBoost feature, which can be connected to the same PartyBoost, such as the JBL Xtreme 3, JBL Boombox 2, JBL Pulse 5, JBL Pulse 4, JBL Boombox 3, and JBL Flip 5. While the Boombox 1 has a Connect+ feature that can wirelessly link more than 100 JBL Connect+-enabled speakers, such as the Charge 3 upgraded version, Charge 4, Pulse 3, Flip 4, and Xtreme 2.

QuestionHow does this compare to the JBL Charge 5? I can't see any real differences between the two besides the higher price.

- Answer They both have the same feature except the 3.5 mm audio cable Input feature that the JBL Xtreme 3 has. In terms of output power, our JBL Xtreme 3 has a 2 x 25W RMS woofer and a 2 x 25W RMS tweeter for a total of 100W, whereas our JBL Charge 5 has 40W.
