A:Answer I have not tried it for that. I believe it would record loud live concert music if placed near the music source, but the sound quality would not be very good. The further you move away from the sound source, the more diffused the sound becomes, especially if there are any other ambient noises (crowd, etc.). It's more suited for capturing meeting discussions or close-up sounds, within the radius of a regular room. That's how we've used it.
