There are several models of Amazon Fire Tablets and also several types of USB cables---see attached reference photo. You need to look at the charging connection on the bottom of the tablet. Only the latest generation of electronic devices use the oval shaped, USB-C charging cable. If one side of the charging connection is flat, you will most likely need a Mini-USB or Micro-USB charging cable. My best guess is that the Micro-USB charging cable is the one you need.
