Our installation was free but it was tricky to find a best buy near us that would do it. We ended up finding one somewhat near by, but it wasn't our local one that we normally go to. It wasn't even our first, second, or third choice. It was still worth it to not have to do it ourselves. When you are purchasing it I believe it gives you the list of locations nearby that would do the installation. You type in your ZIP code and expand the search parameters as needed. I will say you do have to purchase an install kit as well, so that adds another hundred or so to the price depending on your setup. We purchased one but they didn't end up needing all of the parts so we were able to return some. That was nice.
