Yes. I have done this using a Bluetooth adapter for my 2011 55" Samsung 6 series HD TV. There are adapters available that connect to your TV's optical port, or your TV's 3.5mm jack, or your TV's AUX or RCA ports. This depends on what type of audio output ports are available on your older TV. The adapter I bought (ARCHEER 2 in 1 Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver with Digital Optical TOSLINK (SPDIF), Pair 2 At Once, Aptx Low Latency, Volume Control, 3.5mm (AUX and RCA)) is not available anymore but several other brands using the same method are available and they are relatively inexpensive.
