Technically speaking, yes. But I would not recommend it. The stand is relatively heavy itself, because all of the extra moving parts that make it so adjustable. Add in the weight of a TV and I'd fear it's a recipe for disaster. I don't know the exact weight but it's certainly over a couple pounds. I'd be afraid the first time you attempted to adjust the position of the TV (I've noticed with mine I do have to give it a little firmness to get it to move, I should mention) it'd pull the anchors back out and the TV on the floor.

Metal studs are hollow and do not provide the structure necessary for our lag bolts to grip into. For this type of installation we recommend consulting a professional installer to determine if your wall is able to safely hold the weight of the mount and TV, and how to install correctly.
