I've a 65" flatscreen. mounted in the middle of a flat wall. If I angle the screen as far to the left as possible, the angle of the screen to the wall is approximately 40 degrees (parallel to the wall would be 0 degrees). If I angle the screen as far to the right as possible, the angle of the screen relative to the wall is 40 degrees in the opposite direction. 40 degrees left plus 40 degrees right would be 80 degrees. The limiting factor seems to be how far from the wall the centerline of the screen is. With the wall mount I have, that distance measured 24 inches.
