I am not sure if it will fit in your '99 F150, but the Best Buy team was great about figuring out how to get this to fit into our 2003 Saturn Vue. They did a fantastic job on the installation and had all of the right brackets to install the stereo and replace the OEM equipment. As far as a USB, our installation came with a USB port that dangles. We use that port to connect an iPhone to drive the Apple CarPlay -works perfectly but looks a little awkward. The installation makes sense based on the age of our vehicle, but overall, we really like this stereo - tons of features, easy to use, nice screen. Highly recommend adding the backup camera option when you do the install if you can!
