• I’m having the same issues and I’m getting tired of it what if you don’t have a volume knob I have a straight up and down volume on mine

• Yes, you can turn off the emergency alerts on your KMM-BT525HD. Simply: 1. Power up the unit 2. Select HD RADIO as your source 3. Press the volume knob to enter FUNCTION 4. Turn the volume knob and select TUNER SETTINGS 5. Turn the volume knob and select EA 6. Turn the volume knob to select OFF
