A:AnswerThe radio is not a Marine model radio but it can still be installed on a boat. Just make sure to have it in a housing to prevent water damage and make sure its in a dry cool area to prevent moisture as this could lead to corrosion due to marine humidity enviorment. You may want to check into a Marine Kenwood radio instead.

A:AnswerThe reset button is under the faceplate. Look up the manual online. I think you want to hold it down for for a few seconds, maybe 10. If that doesn’t work check your speaker connections. If it still says protect with no speakers hooked up and you’ve preformed a reset it’s broken. I just replaced a similar model where this happened.
