Thanks for your question, Casper. The K-Cafe coffee maker does not use pressure to brew the K-Cup pods, which is required to brew true espresso. It brews the K-Cup pods the way any other Keurig brewer brews them, but there is an option to brew a 2oz, concentrated shot with the K-Cafe that resembles the flavor and roast of a classic espresso beverages. With Espresso Roast Keurig K-Cup® pods and a K-Cafe coffee maker, you can make the crave-worthy specialty coffee drinks you love in three simple steps – just Brew, Froth, and Enjoy!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are referring to Espresso, which is pressed out at a high pressure volume producing a creme' when extracted, then no, this is not an espresso machine. It does make a good cup of coffee and has a stronger shot for espresso like drinks.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yep.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use special espresso K cups. I tried them, but it doesn't brew real espresso as the pressure just isn't there in this machine. So it drips the water through the espresso grounds, not really the same thing. So if you ask me, it does not make espresso.
