• Distilled water tastes different than tap water, but probably will not hurt the machine.

• Don't use distilled water, use plain tap water. Distilled water will actually attack the components of the coffee maker.

• Thanks for your question. We recommend using bottled or filtered spring water in your Keurig coffee maker. Coffee and tea are over 98% water so quality water is necessary for a good coffee, tea or iced beverage. We do not recommend distilled water in your Keurig coffee maker as it can change the taste profile of your coffee by making it bitter, and may cause brewing results to vary.
