Thank you for your question, Sue. To turn on the warming plate, press and hold the Carafe button for three seconds. The warming plate will stay on for another two hours. We hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same question and the first time trying it it wasn’t working when the on button was pushed it cycled as if making a pot or cup and when I select carafe it went to the carafe sizes. I pushed the power button to turning it off. When off I pushed the carafe button holding it then pushed the power button I noticed the cup icon flashing while continuing to push the carafe button for my childhood 1 Mississippi…… when I removed my finger the carafe button was red so I’m taking that as a success!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just bought a Duo and have the same problem. Sent a message to Keurig but so far (5 days) no response. Mine will turn the warmer back on if I press the power button then hold the carafe button for three seconds. If I turn off the power the warmer will also turn off. Solution works!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Make sure the water tank is filled up though. It won’t power back on without more water and you won’t be able to heat up plate. Once you have enough water in tank to power on machine, hold the carafe button for 3 seconds and it will turn on (red).

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The machine has to be completely off, then you hold the carafe button for 3 secs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No and it doesn't make the coffee very hot. I hope they come up with a better design to make the coffee hotter and to stay hot. The design of the machine, shape, is awesome. It is easy to fill up the water reservoir is fantastic and it looks great.
