• Yes, there is an on/off button. However, the unit will automatically shut off after done brewing (either carafe or K-cup). This is because the carafe is double insulated and keeping the outside warm will do nothing to keep the inside warm. There is no warming plate. By the way, the carafe keeps coffee hot for at least two hours.

• Yes, there is a power button. You can also program the Keurig to brew at a certain time. Hope this helps!
