Thanks for your question! We recommend using bottled or filtered water in your Keurig coffee maker. Coffee and tea are over 98% water so quality drinking water is necessary for a good coffee, tea or iced beverage. Our brewers can function properly with tap water. However, if using tap water, we suggest that it be filtered as it may help to improve taste. If you are using well or softened water, we recommend that you plan to descale your brewer every 3 months. We do not recommend using distilled water. We hope this is helpful!
