What is the dial on the top of the Keurig water filter holder?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It goes in the Filter holder. Some units include them, some don't. If your Coffee Maker package came with a Filter, it should have come with a holder, which is usually tall & slender. Most will have a Filter Replacement Reminder Dial on the top and the Filter snaps in at the bottom where you attach it to the water tank.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You do need to buy the holder for the filter separately. There are 2 different ones so make sure you pick up the right one to go with your model. I have the filter with the holder on mine, however I usually don't use tap water from the faucet so it's not necessary. I've used it without the filter and just my already filtered water and the coffee comes out great. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should fit in the plastic tower inside the water reservoir. You should be able to unsnap the bottom and insert the filer then replace the bottom.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In the reservoir. There is a circular an hor point. Should twist into place.

After soaking the water filter you want to place it into the filter holder and then inside your water reservoir. Here is a video on our website that shows step by step instructions http://videos.keurig.com/detail/videos/keurig%C2%AE-brewer-how-tos/video/3895807790001/how-to-use-the-keurig%C2%AE-2.0-water-filter?autoStart=true.
