- Answer I do believe the 'platinum' designation is in reference to the color of this unit. I do feel that it matches stainless (or even the new darker stainless) quite well.

- Answer If you are just brewing an 8oz- it is hot- but not SUPER hot. It's a good temp for me at least!

QuestionI just purchased this coffee maker and the pump sounds like it's really struggling as the coffee is dispensed. Is this normal, or does the one I purchased have some mechanical issues?

QuestionNo one puts the dimensions. How tall it is with the lid open to put the pod in? My cabinets have only 15 1/2" space in Chichester I can slide under. I do not want to have to pull in and out to,put pod into it. Thanks

- Answer 17 inches with the top open, if you only have 15.5 inches the k-cup cannot be put in or out

- Answer Hello Chris and thank you for your question! The K525 Brewing System is equipped with an auto-on feature which will allow you to set a time for your brewing system to turn on automatically. However, your coffee will not begin to brew automatically, you will still need to push the brew button to get your favorite cup of coffee. We hope this information is helpful!

- Answer Hi Chris and thank you for your inquiry. Our Brewers do not dispense cold beverages however, Keurig makes brewing over ice easy! You can use any of your favorite pods. Here are directions: fill a 16-oz cup with ice and place under brewer (do not use glass), choose the 4-oz. 6-oz. or 8-oz. cup size, brew directly over ice stir and enjoy! We hope this information is helpful.

Questioni used the larger k cup as the machine allows with the adjustment where the pod goes, however it now will not accept the regular size pod. Machine says its brewing but it does not. Suggestions??

- Answer Yes they work in the 2.0 they work in mine that's how I make the carafe pot so I don't know why they wouldn't be working in yours that's strange

- Answer You have to go to your settings and put the energy saver on. There is an auto on and off time, and I have the energy saver go off after 15 min of not using it.
