It does not, I ordered one, but some folks over on reddit confirmed with BlackBerry that it does not and this is an accuracy error on Best buys part. Interestingly, the best buy rep assured and gauranteed to me that it would work on VZW. This is a product no one asked for, meanwhile a Key2 (not LE) working on verizon has been the most requested blackberry since release (seen the waiting rooms?). No one asked for a 128gb red blackberry, we all wanted a 128gb blackberry ON red (Verizon). This is what happens when you arent customer obsessed, and this kinda stuff will lead to BB's second failure into entering the device market.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Here's the deal. Technically yes, because Verizon is switching over to the GSM networks, and all CDMA network phones will be discontinued. I have even tested the Key2 on my girlfriends Verizon account, and it works with only basic features. The reaso n is that Verizon has not white listed the phone onto their network, so they won't you use additional services, such as wifi calling well. That being said, AT&T won't let you use the Key2 also, because it hasn't been whitelisted yet, and if you try to bring a nonbranded devie to their network, they block usage of 4G network usage and wifi calling. You'll get usage, but it won't allow the wifi-calling. T-Mobile on the other hand, has a BYOD policy, which the Key2 will get 4G LTE service, which you won't get with Verizon or AT&T. But you will be allowed to use the LTE service. So, if you want to get the Key2, T-mobile is your best bet, because you get full usage of the LTE services. AT&T allows it, but blocks wifi calling and LTE usage. The Verizon even strippes it down even more, even though the Key2 has the capability to use the network. I have used all three networks, and studied it.
