The Skar RP-1500.1D amplifier is rated to produce 1500 watts @ 1-ohm impedance, 930 watts @ 2-ohms impedance. If you were to wire each of the 12" CompR DVC 2-ohm subwoofers coils in series each subwoofer would be a 4-ohm impedance. Then parallel wire those two subwoofers to the amplifier, the amplifier would see a 2-ohm load and develop the 930 watts rated power. That would be 465 watts RMS to each subwoofer. The subwoofer is rated 500 watts RMS, so you are within specifications. As always, set your gains properly and do not clip your amplifier. Enjoy!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Skar rp1500 would be perfect!. These Sub dont really require much power to perform. I have a hifonics alpha 1500 mono amp and was powering 2/12 inch skar svr rated at 800 watts rms each. The compR is 500 watts rms. I hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it would work gray 1500 amps would be enough to push both subs being a mono block amp
