From what I know which is not a whole lot but the only thing I could guess is that you might be over powering the sub, if the rms rating is above 1 x 2ohm -1250w rms. I am using a 2000.1D Kenwood KAC-9106D it’s max power is 2000w and it’s rms is 1000w 1 x 2ohm, which is perfect for the subs. I can play them harder but not enough to damage the amp or subs. But if your amp does fit within the wattage ratings then maybe you blew a fuse, bc I just got my speaker amp fixed bc I blew a fuse and there was no sound coming out of my speakers. Lastly if that’s not the case then could be a wire is messed up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the amps peak power is 4000.1 then it might be overpowering your subs since it would be around 1500-2000w rms to each sub. The CompR 12s should at max push 1250 bc that is 150% of the subs rms power which is max u can push it without damaging the sub.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My kicker 1200.1 does the same when I turn the bass knob up too high I heard it’s because the amp is not getting the power it needs so it goes in protection mode everywhere I look tells me to upgrade my alternator I have one lined up to be built for me for $500 it’s a 300 amp alternator by Excessive Amperage
