- Answer Shouldn't be an issue. Stock calls for 5X8 and these went right into my 2000 F-350 crew cab with room to spare, no problem. Honestly 6X9's will probably fit in stock locations as well. Huge improvement over the stock Ford garbage.

QuestionI recently installed these speakers in my 2013 f150, my front passenger speaker was making a static noise so I replaced them with the kickers, but at high volumes it still makes the same noise. Is there something else I should be looking at?

- Answer Good chance you're getting road noise. If you change to a higher grade speaker wire it should get rid of most of the static. If you're using a stock head unit that's probably an issue as well. Order speaker wire with thicker shielding from Crutchfield or Best Buy.. If you do this and static persists check your ground. Steer clear of Walmart brands. They're basically what you have now

Questionyour advertised kicker csc68 say they have titanium tweeters? but if you scroll down they say PEI dome tweeters? I bought 2 pairs. they definitely have pei tweeters. Maybe you should fix your info on the web page before someone sues you.

- Answer They are more than decent for the price point and available locally for immediate pick up. Quality is more than adequate for the average consumer. A false advertising lawsuit over a typo concerning build materials would be overeaching just a bit. Can be amplified with a smaller amp and easily fine tuned with an active X-over. Can't please everyone and if your ear is that discerning, or system is that specialized, why are you buying off the shelf at a big box?
