A:AnswerNo you will be fine I’m running 2 L7 d4 ohm and there wired 1ohm with the same amp, be careful you don’t over power them that amp packs a punch for being so small
A:AnswerIt does but it’s underpowered but nothing wrong with that. But if you’re looking for recommended rms power than the KXA2400.1 is the amp that’d be perfect for dual 15” L7 q class subwoofers
A:AnswerI'm using 4 gauge wire with no issues. My guess is that the ground wire is not grounded to the car frame properly. I have the 1800 watt kicker amp.It also recommends using 0 gauge wire.
A:AnswerYou’ll destroy the equipment you don’t want to ever overpower any of your equipment. It’s okay to underpower but overpower will just limit the lifespan of your equipment
A:AnswerTo be honest I’d do a big three upgrade, high output performance alternator (ex. Car runs 105a alternator but replacing with high output performance alternator 320a built in 14.4v regulator) upgrade all the batteries and put capacitor (2or3 farad for just the cxa1800.1 but I’m running a 5 farad because I have a 4 channel pioneer gm digit also). So 0/1 gauge wire with proper fuse holder with fuses from battery to battery and second battery to anl fuse holder with proper fuse then to amp. You could get the kicker 0/1 gauge wiring kit but it’s really based off what you’re running for the whole system. I’m wiring mine with no kit just buying the 30 feet 0/1 gauge and 3 feet of 4 gauge for the pioneer gm digit 4 channel. Wiring 2 wires from the alternator to the battery one wire from battery to 5 farad capacitor with 250a fuse with fuse holder to second battery and wiring a dual amp fuse with a 80a fuse and 150a fuse. The 80a fuse would be the 4 gauge to the pioneer gm digital 4 channel and the 150a fuse would be the 0/1 gauge to the cxa1800.1. I’m also running a DSP which is connected by rca cables from the amplifiers to the dsp then rca cables to the head unit
A:AnswerI gotta look up those subs. It will def work n def take it only if everything is the same. N u really need a nice tuner not by ear. Just stole this amp for $150 a week old. He had it on a 13w7 just one amp n said he thought he was going to blow it. But didn’t But I got old flame qs, but there 1200/2400 watt subs. It probably will blow the 2 if I cranked it at 1 ohm. I have 4 flame qs on it at 2 ohm cranking. Not at max. I need more electrical. 4 12s at 4800 rms is what it’s on now n it’s bumping. 3 12s would probably be perfect. But get as many as u want bro. After getting it. I say any decent 12 you’d be fine with there 800.1 at 1 ohm maybe 1200.1 if u want that extra comfortable clean power more than enough. This cxa1800.1 is stupid. You need 0 gauge extra battery big 3 n really another alternator if u add anything else. But it has so much power n is big for a new amp so u know it cranks. N the Q’s are $450 a piece used now so they work.
