A:AnswerWhile the convection bake feature in this thing probably could toast bread (it does a nice job with frozen french bread pizza) I would not get rid of that countertop toaster oven. The microwave's bake feature would be a lot slower and less energy efficient. When you use the microwave's "bake" functions you have to wait for the oven to pre-heat first, and you could probably toast a whole loaf of bread in a conventional toaster oven in the amount of time that takes.
A:AnswerYes, it has instructions on how to cook various items for microwave and convection oven. It is brief and concise and the instructions are very easy.
A:AnswerWe mounted this microwave as a hood above our stove. Fits nice and didn’t require any face plate. Drilled some holes for screws into cabinet above stove. Took about 10 minutes.

A:AnswerIt is safe to just open the door and stir. You may have a slightly different model number as mine is only 1000 watts. You can tell by looking inside the door frame. If necessary you can always reset the minutes necessary for the second stage. However, I would just close the door and press START to resume cooking.
A:AnswerNo, the 'sensor' in a microwave is usually just a steam sensor that can calculate how much the food has been heated up. It's how it knows when to stop cooking veggies or popcorn and such. If it's a "smart" one (internet enabled) it will probably say so explicitly in the feature list. This model is not one of those.
