- Answer The fridge door can be removed. I don't know about the freezer. But don't buy this from BestBuy. I have had HORRENDOUS service from them - still not resolved after 2 months. Find a local appliance dealer where they actually care.

QuestionI have a 30 yr old kitchenAid fridge that has 1/2 size shelves, one of which rolls out. The shelves hook on the back like these do. I could use my roll out glass shelf in this one if it is the same size. Does anyone know the size of the 1/2 shelf?
