QuestionThis model will replace a Magtag microwave of the same measurements which is not mounted to the wall but to the cabinet over it. Can this model be mounted using the cabinet above it? Is there a bracket or template for that kind of installation?

- Answer This microwave is secured using a wall-mounted mounting plate that the bottom rear of this microwave sits on and two bolts that go through the bottom of cabinet above which secure it from the top. - Answer It is actually 17 inches when you allow for the built in venting fan (this is an "over the range microwave). Definitely will not work in smaller space.

- Answer no it is an over the range microwave. Best Buy sells counter top micrwaves with trim kits for a built in look or some models are made to be built in to wall.

QuestionBought this unit but i'm confused it came with a metal rack i didn't think metal was allowed in the unit can you explain if this belonga in the microwave or is used for something else i see it in one of the pictures but it not explained thank you

- Answer Please read link below. The rack is for certain uses (I.e. convection) only and should be removed from microwave when not being used. - Answer Hello, This model does allow metal racks to be used if used properly per the use and care guide. Use the rectangular cooking rack only for 2-level cooking. To avoid damage to the microwave oven, always remove rack after 2-level cooking. To avoid damage to the microwave oven due to soil buildup, clean rack supports often. We hope this helps.

QuestionThis will be installed on an interior wall under a cabinet. Does this unit have to have vent holes cut and ductwork installed in order to function? Or can the venting system recirculate air right out of the box once it's mounted to the wall?

- Answer There are vents on the top of the unit, along the front. As long as these are not obstructed by your cabinets, you do not need to vent this. The vents in the unit are not visible from the front, so you won't see them.

QuestionWhat is the total length of the microwave with the door open at a 90 degree angle? I need to measure for clearance on the lefthand side of the unit.

- Answer The length is not affected as the door hinge is slightly offset to allow the door to align with the overall width of the unit and will fit in a 30 inch opening !!

- Answer It's 29 5/8 in. The door actually comes further out than the kitchen cabinet. Clearance is not a problem and the micro fits snugly inside the opening above the range.
