• I would imagine you could, the arm that breaks up the ice seems to be pretty strong. I would be careful to ensure that there are no large chunks of ice as it could possibly overload it. You could always do it the old fashioned way and just keep the bag in the freezer until your well is back in service.

• The ice bin is removable, so you could fill it with your own ice. However, the cubes it makes are rather small, I am unsure how well the dispenser would handle larger ice cubes.

• No. The ice maker dispenser is specifically made to dispense the size and shape ice cube that the appliance produces. Using any other size/shape cubes would likely damage the appliance.
