Q: QuestionWhat gauge power cord is included? Instructions say to connect using 8 gauge copper wire. My house has 8 gauge coming to the junction box but the power cord attached to oven is only 10 gauge? Is this correct?

• A:Answer Had to find this answer on an appliance forum. Best Buy installation team said it Must be 8 gauge don't install but when asked where in instructions does it explain how to attach the power cord he said Just use what came with the oven. Oven comes with a short 10 gauge "whip" already attached to the oven. Whip is too short for a below oven junction box. Had to put a box in the cabinet above oven.
