Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would venture a guess that the Kitchenaid mini food processor will not shred cheese. I have not tried it, but it only has the one blade for chopping and puree settings. The next model up should, since I saw them do that on QVC...might wish to google that. That particular model had different chopping/shredding/grating disks. Had I had the storage or counter space, I would have went with a larger one than that of the mini. The grated cheese is supposed to be much healthier than that of the ones you buy pre-packaged. Best wishes in your search!
