• The KSMFGA is a newer product that mounts other KSM— attachments. The older FGA only mounts older non-KSM attachments. The overall design is roughly the same, but the KSMFGA's collar has five fins, while the FGA's collar has ten ribs and uses a wrench. The KSMFGA has a slightly larger port, so its attachments do not fit into the smaller FGA.

• The FGA is a plastic housing, the MFGA is all metal and includes the sausage stuffing components, I'm not sure if they are included with the plastic set
