• Make sure this product will fit your mixer. If it does fit, it will mix/cream while also scraping the side of the bowl. I use it when making Royal icing.

• It’s wide so it gets pretty close to the edge of bowl. Without it, you have to stop the mixer and scrape edges with spatula.

• The rubber that's on the beater will scrape the entire bowl while it's mixing so its contents are thoroughly incorporated. Make sure you adjust the mixer so the beater doesn't touch no less than 1/4 inch from the bottom of the bowl. The instruction book that came with your mixer will tell you how to do it.
