“Can different size bowls fit this model? Larger and smaller? I've seen several say that the smaller bowls fit, but nothing about the larger bowl - a 6 qt?”

Hi, The KV25G0XSL will accept a 3, 5 or 6 QT stainless steel bowl.

Please try again later.You can fit larger bowls, BUT there are two things to keep in mind: The attachments are designed to work with specific size bowls, so different bowls will need their paired attachments. Also, the difference between bowl lift models is the power of the motor. If you fill a bigger bowl on a smaller motor, you run the risk of killing your machine. It's fine for lighter ingredients, but something to be careful about

Please try again later.So I bought the 500 series from BEST BUY and it indicates it's suppose to come with a 5QT bowl...however, mine came with a 6QT bowl...which caused the dough hook not to work properly with my machine. My machine initially made noises..i called and complained to kitchen aid..they just sent another attachment to me which didn't help either. Well now my machine stopped working and i believe it's because BEST BUY sent me the wrong bowl with my machine which caused it to die. MY machine didn't even last 2 years. SAVE YOUR MONEY. It isn't worth 500 dollars.
