It should work. Plug transmitter into Sub1 on the AVR, and supply power. Plug in Sub. Tell the AVR you have a Sub. Push buttons on the transmitter and back of Sub to pair the components. Solid light on back of Sub and transmitter means you're good to go. Adjust gain on AVR and Sub. It isn't real powerful, but it does what I wanted it for. A green light shows on the top of the Sub when it's active. I have the toggle switch to turn on Sub when the AVR is on. I don't want it on all the time. I put taller feet on the Sub so the carpet doesn't eat as much sound. I hooked it up the small Marantz directly under my TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes but check your Denon receiver manual to be sure the bass is going to both your main speakers and sub woofer. Actually it's fine to go to just sub woofer if you are always using it for home entertainment center, but both for music as well. The power gain (forget the exact name) is easy to balance/match to your speakers. The other know is for the level for the sub to preform. I set this on close to 11 o'clock. Enjoy the speaker, it sounds great and perhaps look for a sale. Got around 42% during the holidays.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can use this with an AV receiver. You will just need to plug the wireless dongle into the "subwoofer out" port on the back of the receiver. If your receiver does not have a "subwoofer out" port, you may want to reach out to Denon about how they recommend connecting a subwoofer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the receiver has an RCA subwoofer pre-output connection you should be able to connect the wireless transmitter to that and pair the subwoofer to that transmitter.
