- Answer In terms of what crossover I would recommend, I suggest a crossover of 80-100Hz for the R-800F. This will accentuate the mid-high frequencies in the tower and allow the subwoofer to handle those low frequencies!

- Answer To connect the KD-10SW to the R-41PM speakers, you will only need a male-male RCA subwoofer cable. Connect the cable into the KD-10SW's RCA Line Input labeled "LFE." I suggest setting the Low-Pass dial to 80Hz as the speakers will cut off at this frequency when a cable is connected into the RCA Subwoofer Output. The Low- Pass dial will set the ceiling frequency for the subwoofer (ex if set to 80 Hz, the sub will play 80Hz and below, frequency-wise).

- Answer To connect the R-121SW, you will need a male-male RCA subwoofer cable. Connect this cable into your Pioneer Receiver's "Subwoofer Output" and then connect the other end of the cable into the R-121SW's "Line Input" (labeled "LFE"). You should be able to find one of these on Best Buy's website or at your local dealer.

- Answer While this connection is possible, the connection may result in the sub output being lowered. This may also effect the "Auto-on/Auto-off" feature due to signal strength. You may need to raise the subwoofer's gain level within the source's settings.

- Answer There are a couple of different ways to go about tuning your subwoofer for optimal settings (ultimately it will be personal choice and taste)! If you have a receiver/amplifier that features an auto-calibration (this is the where you set up the included mic and each speaker in the setup produces test tones to determine the receiver levels), then you will want to set the GAIN at the halfway or 12 o'clock position and the Low-Pass dial to the "LFE" value (all the way clockwise). If you would like to set the subwoofer's crossover yourself, then you will want to set the GAIN at the halfway or 12 o'clock position and the Low-Pass dial around 80-100Hz. For the On/Auto/Off switch, if you set the switch all the way up, then the subwoofer will always remain ON. If you set the switch to the MIDDLE position, then the subwoofer will turn on and off with your receiver/amplifier. Lastly, the phase switch controls the polarity of the frequencies outputted. If you have 2 subwoofers in your room/theater that are facing each other, put one at 0 degrees and the other at 180 degrees so that they don't cancel each other's frequencies out.

- Answer Yes, you will only need a male-male RCA subwoofer cable to connect this subwoofer to your Yamaha RX-V4A's Subwoofer PreOut. In general a 12" subwoofer will have a higher output and wider frequency response (range) when compared to an 8" subwoofer.

- Answer This subwoofer will connect to that receiver using a RCA subwoofer cable. You will want to look for passive, non-powered speakers that have a power handling under the power output your receiver can supply (for the DENON X3800H, that would be speakers with a power handling under 105 Watts at 8 Ohms).
